The poll was conducted by the University of michicgan and it included Baghdad along with 16 of the 18 provinces in iraq, which include sunnis, shia, and kurds. Who ran the poll? Did they have an agenda they were forwarding? If an Islamic Republic is what the Iraqi people truly want, now they have the right to vote for candidates who will take them in that direction. Under Saddam, merely advocating such a thing could bring persecution, torture, even death. And I guarantee the Sunnis do not want to live with Shia Islam, the Shia do not want to live with Sunni Islam, & the Kurds don't want either one. You're over-simplifying to push your agenda.	van11111
